Has there every been a sci-fi movie where "alien" music *wasn't* obviously in twelve-tone equal temperament (and also not repurposed "ethnic" music)?

Yes-- that's what I was thinking: like Bach, but in 17-limit just intonation instead of 5 and without resolving the comma, so that the pitches spiral as they change octaves? (It might make sense to aliens.)
