By a truly amazing stroke of luck, I found the lining for my Shieldmaiden corset. So now I really have no excuse not to finish it. All I have left are about five inches of snail embroidery, then putting it together. Then I just have to get rope for the gown, and I am all set! Eighteen months later, of course.

Oh how I love sewing! My gown is very versatile. I can do the Brunhilde thing with two belts and braids hanging off the front of my head, or, if I twist my hair around me ears, it looks vaguely Princess Leia-esque. Very interesting. Except not.
