if I were going to be exceptionally critical, I'd note that the hexameters aren't very classical-- but the clunkiness matches the original very well. And, I know from experience that it's incredibly difficult just to make the meter and syntax work together, which the author did very very well. You can read it out loud and understand what it is saying, which is not the case for a lot of attempts at Latin hexameters!
