If you're gonna freak out about not starting your summer reading not even two weeks into your break, then I have no idea how you're gonna get through four years (or more, since I don't really know if music teachers need Masters) without burning out and going crazy.

*hugs 'cos she's joking*

If you wanna complain about something and go "ARGH YOU'RE SO STUPID", you could read what we're reading for seminar next week, Germs. It's co-written by Judith Miller, and it's bad. It's real bad. But it'll give you and your family stuff to be disapproving at over supper. :D

I also thought it was really annoying how Dan Brown described Europe. While yeah, it might be kinda cool to think to yourself, "Hey! I've seen that!", it really does sound corny... and it doesn't get any better as the book goes on. It's especially irritating when he gives the same canned description twice, when there's about all of maybe two sentences between the two passages. Wtf? Seriously. If I wanted to read/watch a travel guide I'd either find one at the bookstore or watch the delightfully nerdy guy on PBS.

Lotsa footnotes, huh? :P
