So, someone has deleted the Paolini threads. Now I will never know how that particularl tempest in a teapot ended.

And, worse, A Certain Member of Sheroes Whom I Quite Dislike has something in common with me!

People are always asking for Fantasy reccommendations, and, from time to time (say, once every couple of months) I put in a plug for Katherine Kurtz. No one ever acknowledges that I have posted, let alone that they are interested. So, This Person replied to my most recent such post, seconding the recommendation. But I really dislike him. I don't want to have anything in common with him.

Maybe.... maybe he discovered them on accident, and has only read a few, and only says it because he recognises that your recommendation is sound and should be listened to?

I doubt it. He's a 40+ Libertarian who for some reason gets his kicks mostly from debating politics with primarily middle school and high school-aged girls (read: he posts lots of long, impressive articles to intimidate everyne, which he presents as scholarly research, but in fact come from extreme-right wing websites.)

I don't know what he was doing on the Books board, anyway, come to think of it.

I bet he's not married. It wouldn't surprise me, given his hobby of arguing with teenagers. >D
