Quartet II

This time, Brahms g minor. Brahms. Memories ofProfessor Snape Manuel come back. And my intonation wasn't even that good today, either. Someday, they're going to give me c minor again. And then, then we shall see. Then we shall know. Or, someday, if I work hard and decide to go for music, I'll meet him again, and play in a quartet with him. Then we really shall see. Then we really shall embarrass ourselves when we flee and hide in the closet, rather.
No Ed this time. We've got Richard instead on violin I. I think he requested the Brahms. He seems to have a pretty good handle on it, and he knows it, or pretends to. But I don't like him. An arrogant bastard. Note that the emphasis is on the first word. He's an arrogant bastard, not and arrogant bastard. Truly, he isn't either. I probably just get irritated with him because he's too much like me. Knows music, and wants to make sure everything works out just so. Which is good -- I just don't like that superior tone. The "dynamics!" hiss. The "I'm-the-first-violinist-obey-me-without-question" attitude."
And with his name, I was all set to like him, too. What a shame. Except that he is actually okay to work with. Better than Zack, for instance. Even if he is going to CIM, too (But on voice, at least.) *jealousy vibes.*
It looks like M. and I will be doing a duet, which will be much more fun than theory. Much more fun.
