loyaulte me lie

So it's that time of year again. Four hundred and twenty-one years today (if one ignores the shift in the calender), Richard III was "through great treason of the duke of Norfolk and many others that turned against him, with many other lords and nobles of this north parts, was piteously slain and murdered."

If I had a scanner, I would put up the In Memoriam from the Times, but I don't, so I won't.

Hello! Found you via Les Liaisons Dangereuses, saw the name 'Ricardienne' and the icon and wondered if the name meant what I thought it meant...

I admit, my passionate Ricardianism has waned a little over the years (although I do have large quantities of souvenirs from the Richard III museum in York), but I still wear black every August 22nd... indeed, last year I woke up on the 22nd with the strong urge to wear black and reread Daughter of Time, and only realised halfway through the day what the date was - it's amazing what 14 years of conditioning will do!

Anyway, I just wanted to express my pleasure in meeting a fellow enthusiast.

Regards,

Catherine
